EDUKASI MELALUI AUDIOVISUAL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN SELF-CARE PADA PENDERITA DIABETES MELLITUS OBESITAS DI DESA BANDENGAN KENDAL

Diabetes mellitus (DM) dan obesitas adalah dua masalah kesehatan yang saling terkait dan menuntut perhatian serius di masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas edukasi menggunakan audiovisual dalam meningkatkan kemampuan self-care pada penderita obesitas dengan DM di Desa Bandengan Kendal. Program ini melibatkan 60 pasien dan menggunakan metode video edukasi, diskusi kelompok, serta penyuluhan gizi. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan self-care sebesar 80% setelah intervensi. Program ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif dalam manajemen kesehatan pasien.
