Abstract

Pasien dengan HIV yang mengalami komplikasi bedah medikal menghadapi tantangan yang signifikan dalam proses penyembuhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi peran perawat dalam manajemen nyeri dan kepatuhan pengobatan pada pasien HIV yang mengalami komplikasi bedah medikal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan 20 perawat yang bekerja di unit bedah medikal dan HIV/AIDS di sebuah rumah sakit di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran perawat sangat penting dalam manajemen nyeri dan kepatuhan pengobatan pasien HIV dengan komplikasi bedah medikal. Perawat yang memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang baik dalam manajemen nyeri dan komunikasi efektif dapat meningkatkan kepatuhan pasien terhadap pengobatan dan mempercepat proses penyembuhan.
