Tekanan psikologis yang dialami oleh pasien kanker merupakan salah satu tantangan signifikan dalam perawatan onkologi. Kecemasan adalah salah satu masalah kesehatan mental paling umum yang mempengaruhi pasien yang didiagnosis menderita kanker, terutama selama fase perawatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi manajemen kecemasan pada pasien kanker di Jakarta. Pendekatan metode campuran digunakan, yang melibatkan survei kuantitatif dan wawancara kualitatif. Hasilnya mengungkapkan bahwa kombinasi psikoedukasi, dukungan sosial, dan konseling psikologis secara signifikan membantu mengurangi tingkat kecemasan di antara pasien. Psikoedukasi dan dukungan emosional dari keluarga dan profesional kesehatan ditemukan sangat bermanfaat. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya pendekatan komprehensif untuk perawatan kanker yang mencakup dukungan psikologis sebagai komponen kunci.
